Well, thanks for everything you've done jamis. Your Treasure generator has probably shaved days (in total) off my prep time.

Your NPC generator's contribution could likely be measured in weeks:)

Hope everything goes well for you.

Well I am sad to see you go but I completely understand it. I want to thank you for everything you have contributed to my games, which has been quite a lot.

Thank you and good luck.

Thank you for the work you have done: I have found your generators quite useful in the past. I think its a good thing to write the software instead of arranging the links.

Good luck

Clarifications

Thanks, all, for your sentiments. :) I just wanted to clarify a few things, based on some e-mails I've received and other messages in this thread:

1) I am closing my site (so yes, if you have a link to my site somewhere, you'll probably want to remove it). I will no longer be maintaining the downloads on my site, the news page, links, or any other portions of my site (but see #2, below).

2) I am NOT closing down my online generators (the dungeon, treasure, town, and NPC ones). I will continue to maintain those. The URL for them will remain the same as they are now (thanks a ton to Erik for hosting them!). The URL's are:

Treasure generator: http://www.aarg.net/~minam/treasure2.cgi

Town generator: http://www.aarg.net/~minam/towns.cgi

Dungeon generator: http://www.aarg.net/~minam/dungeon.cgi

NPC generator: http://www.aarg.net/~minam/npc.cgi

I will also continue to maintain and improve my offline generators. They will remain available as downloads from ENWorld. I will continue to require that they ONLY be hosted in one place, to prevent obsolete/buggy versions from being propogated around the web after fixes have been released.

I hope that answers the majority of the questions/concerns that I have heard. Feel free to e-mail me (jgb3@email.byu.edu) if you have any other questions.

Thanks again, all!

Hey Jamis,

Congrats on finding more time to spend with your family and working on software.

Win-win-win for all concerned.
