So many new players!

They are 9-12 years old. I will certainly talk to the parents, but thanks for the reminder. I know most of the parents, but it's not like D&D has come up in most of our conversations.

I'd considered the Basic Game -that level of minis and maps use works great for this age group, but I kind of want to run an event at the store where all the kids can come at once and learn together (even if they are in 4-6 different groups) if you know what I mean, and I don't know how to get my hands on 6 copies!

Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming. I love the Gauntlet, but the puzzles are always hard for that age group. If we do something with puzzles (or even not) you can be assured we'll use as many props as we can afford/have time to use.

edit: I had not considered inviting the parents for some strange reason. At least one parent already plays in our group with kids....I'll have to give that some thought.
