D&D 5E (2024) So the Armorer still need be Wearing before Don his armor.

I saw the Eberron: Forge of the Artificer, and Armorer subclass got something like:
You gain the benefits while wearing your Arcane Armor.
Quick Don and Doff. You can don or doff the armor as a Utilize action. The armor can't be removed against your will..
We all know that Don is a specfic word for armor be wearing, so how can I don it as a Utilize action before I don it??????
The same problem appears in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. not fixing for 5 years???

I'm sorry, but I very literally do not understand what problem you are trying to communicate here.

OP thinks Don means "to be wearing," so you need to be wearing the armor in order to utilize the action that lets you put it on. Which wouldn't make sense, if you misunderstand what the terms mean.

OP, don is the act of putting the armor on. Doff is the act of taking it off.

Is this the right text, I took it from another site and not DDBeyond.

Basically- Iron Man with nano-stuff. So, you put on a suit of plate mail and 'magic' it at 3rd level. Then you can don/doff it at will with a utilize action.

I guess you would want to take it off if you are drowning or something like sleeping. I have seen and made armor like this and it has never really been a problem. I tend to not make the Pcs into situations where they need to take off their armor or get attacked first thing in the morning when you go to the little boy's room and are by yourself.
