So, what did YOU get for Christmas?

Merry Christmas Everyone!

My christmas is now done. Time for bed for me.

I've enjoyed the day. Spent it with my gf, and had mum down this year with us. Stuffed ourselves on too much food.

I got The Mummy dvd, and The Mummy Returns dvd (I think my gf likes Brendan Fraser ;) ). A Galileo Galilei Thermometer, chocolates, a Teddy Bear :) , and a RSPCA T-shirt from my mum.

Best wishes for those that are still celebrating, and have a safe and enjoyable New Year.

Cheers

I got a bottle of wine and a new wine glass so far. I know I'll get one or two more gifts though....heh, as soon as I get home from work. I do wireless networking support for Dell...and I have to be here to help all the little boys, girls, moms and dads setup their wireless networks they got for Christmas.

Let's see. Hubby got me two books on London (we're planning a trip next fall), my sister-in-law got me a really beautiful book on European cathedrals, and my husband's parents gave me a check and a whistling tea kettle. Since I had incinerated the old tea kettle, that was something I needed.

We don't make too big of a deal about the presents. For us, christmas is more about spending time together. This year we're staying home, and having friends over for dinner. I'll be putting the turkey in the oven in about an hour.

Chicago... London... Why, you little jetsetters, you! :D

Won't know what's up with me until I catch up with the family later today...and I agree, just seeing them is the best present of all. :)

I forgot to mention that my in-laws bought the dog a liver scented rawhide ring. She practically ripped the package out of my hands, she was so eager to get to the stinky thing. It took her an hour to consume it, even though it was bigger than her head when she started. She's sleeping at my feet, snoring happily and burping liver scented burps every now and then.

gamecube with 2 wireless remotes
mortal kombat:deadly alliance
lost kingdoms
sonic mega collection
sweater
socks
shirt
bottle of wine
gift certificate 25.00 for Virgin mega store.

I'm spending more hours on the gamecube more than anything else (with the exception of my game writing). :)

I could live with my parents too... But I would have to commute by plane to go to university and it would take about... lemme see... 8 hours for the first flight... 1 hour for the next... then the bus, about 2 hours... oh, and the processing at the airport, let's say 2 hours between the two flights... So 2(8+1+2+2) = 26 hours per day.

The lucky thing is that I can actually sleep in the planes.
You could ask Gary Gygax if wants to adopt you, you know...

I got clothes, clothes, clothes... I am such a fashion nerd. :D

And thank you, PA, for making me feel guilty by saying you're working on articles on Christmas Eve. Gahh... *I* have deadlines coming up and funding running out. Next time, lie.
