So, what did YOU get for Christmas?

But I think he's got 20+ in Int and Wis.

...and a 5 in DEX. You'll just have to smack him before he starts casting spells and summons Bataille or something. You're a Karate dude, so your BAB should be fine. Just think of the treasure he must be hoarding in his office.

A lump of coal and a couple of sticks. The are nice sticks.:)

Did not really get anything this year, belt, wallet, that is about it. My best Christmas was a few years ago, got a red wagon, no other Christmas has come close to that one.:)

Bar set with shaker.

I can't wait to perforate some things with that gun!
The whole family sat down to watch LOTR, even my sister in law. So cool!

You'll put your eye out!

I got the Dark Crystal! Oh, and Attack of the Clones, also.

I got the Dark Crystal!

Proof positive that Lucas should never have abandoned honest-to-goodness Muppets, IMHO. :)

The best part of Xmas this year was watching the kids enjoy it. Watching my son bounce up and down in anticipation, and watching the kids check if Santa had eaten the cookies they'd left behind (he left some crumbs :)) and then the unwrapping. Quite a lot of fun assembling my son's Imaginext Castle and accessories as a family project.

Myself, I got a CD binder, which was sorely needed. My father sent a new CPU, a GPS (so we can go Geocaching) and an X-box with some games, and a friend [Scorch] gave me Splinter Cell (Yay!) to go with it. My wife, Valanthe, let me buy a new laptop (which I'm using this very moment). I also got a swell new coffee maker, and a new travel mug from the kids.

After being unemployed for 11 months, it was rather nice to splurge a little for Xmas. And to top it off, Valanthe is making our entire gaming group some custom dice bags. They are sweet.

Some cash for my FLGS.

Candy.

Two Tshirts. One of which I will be passing on to a friend. I don't wear clothing with Nike logo's.

A Capt. America vs. Rhino sweatshirt. It's really tacky but very comfie. I just won't wear it outside the house. :)

A comfie blanket.

Toothbrush and toothpaste. An annual stocking stuffer at my Mom's.

Two cool books. One a dictionary of theories. The other an autographed copy of Anguished English.

A small wall hanging of a winged cat.

Overall it wasn't a bad Yule.

Now if the Amazon order for my girlfriend would just get here...

You could ask Gary Gygax if wants to adopt you, you know...

So, I now know how you came by your name. The modifier should be "The Evil Left Hand of Piratecat," of course.

Happy New Year,
Gary

I got a bunch of Vallejo paints, and will probably be ordering some more in the next week or so - they are sweeeet! I can feel my mad paint skillz increasing all ready. I also got a carousel rack to keep them in. Also got a soldering iron - I'm getting more into making my own minis, and I wanted that to make wire armatures with. Those were my main things, along with some other odd-n-ends-n-cash-n-whatnot. Oh, and I got to see my nephew be totally overwhelmed by his first Christmas - he was lurching about from present to present, squealing in baby glee.

Proof positive that Jim Henson dying was a BAD idea. :(
