It looks like the pendulum is swinging back toward the Forgotten Realms with issues 334 and 335. Sigh... :\

I was so happy with Dragon over the past year, but quite frankly I don't see anything in either issue that has me wanting to use it.
NOTE: this is not a Dragon/Dungeon/Erik Mona bashing. I think Eric has improved both mags 100% since he took over. I just don't have a use for the Forgotten Realms setting. I hate drow. I hate Waterdeep. It's just my opinion. Leave it at that. :D

Er, there's no drow mentioned in either issue, though, are there?

I hate pusing sores, myself, but that's not going to affect buying Dragon or not, when it's not mentioned in this issue.

Yay, finally more Realms specific material in Dragon, was beginning to worry that the mag had gone over to the dark side (read Eberron) entirely. Don't get me wrong, I can find a use for almost anything, but I do like articles that I don't have to convert and can just plug straight into my campaign.

Now if only they'd do an article or two on the events of the Year of Rogue Dragons trilogy,l covering such things as: Sammasters stats, and which cities/towns get devastated during the course of the year and to what extent (from The Rite novel I know that Teshwave and Melvaunt get hit very hard, and thats just in the Moonsea region). A timeline of the year and what happens when would be very welcome!

Which is a relief. None of us use Eberron at all.

I'd go for that! We've incorporated that into our FR campaign, mostly at the "expense" of my half-dragon paladin who's having issues with the Rage and the repercussions of getting "knocked" into the full-blown version that she's not had before...

They should do a write-up of what happens during the Rage to the dragons... Is it some sort of the Barbarian's Raging Ability or something different? And how would this be statted out if it came up again? I think we went with the +2 to STR and +2 to CON for the duration of it... but I'd love to have a more definitive (re: official) stat writeup to hand to my DM to use.
