I think sales would suffer on an entirely aquatic themed set of minis.

QFT - though it would be nice to see a few aquatic critters dropped into some of the forthcoming sets.

You'd be looking at another Aberrations set...

I didn't mind Aberrations. I found Underdark to be meh!

Just making sure Umbran. ;) Sorry but I figured this was a cause worth restating..

On the topic in hand: giant animal/vermin run the risk of people opening their packs and thinking, "I could have got a horde of these out a dime store": I'd much rather see D&D specific monsters in DDM packs. So yeah, Aboleths and Umber Hulks and like would be funky.

I just want me a sold separately Tarrasque.

That's not that far out there. We got the colossal red now, and after that, there's only two core dragons that can be colossal, and they're metallic (which might mean that they don't get preferred treatment), so the Terrasque might be the next colossal we get (or it might be a Gold).

I wouldn't purchase a metallic colossal. I'd just see no use for it in my games and am not a collector. So a terresque would certainly be a good option for me. Can't think of too many other colossal creatures - a colossal monstrous spider perhaps? Not sure there would be much of a market for that either!

I think colossal metallic dragons and terrasques are even in the enemy count in all the games I played. If not, the dragons are ahead.

Never encountered a big T. I might have faced or used a big dragon I don't remember right now.

Yep, the purple worm is gargantuan.

I guess the choice was either to have a huge worm now or a gargantuan somewhere in time.

While the worm is gargantuan, the part of it that sticks out of the ground is small enough to be represented by a huge figure.

How would an aboleth be sculpted? a patch of water with four tentacles coming out, or the complete critter, dragging itself above the dry land?

I voted Nalfeshnee, because I like demons, and I find nalfeshnees to be the most visually interesting of the bunch.

They have a land speed, and fly is a recommended spell for them. Psionic aboleths can take speed of thought as a feat and have a decent land speed.
