Honorable mention goes to Ex-Libris, the Mud Sorcerer's Tomb, and anything with the Styes in it.

"Kingdom of the Ghouls," no doubt. For me, this was the one 2e adventure that really recaptured some of the magic of the classic 1st edition modules like D1-2-3.

The last 3 years or so have seen many great adventures in Dungeon, though. Lots of those Age of Worms ones were fantastic.

I suspect that in 10 years, people will generally see the Mona/Jacobs reign as a golden age of great adventures, akin to early AD&D modules.

My favorite is Erik Mona's Whispering Cairn in Dungeon #124, the first module in the Age of Worms Adventure Path. Whispering Cairn is huge, it has the whole backdrop of Diamond Lake, the Age of Worms Overload and the poster map to bolster it even further - and it's just a great D&D adventure.

I haven't played a lot of Dungeons adventures, but from what I play, I agree with Steel Wind. I'm running this adventures for the second time right now, by the way!

The Quicksilver Hourglass was VERY good.

That's the epic-level one, right? I always thought it would be entertaining to see a sidebar on scaling that one down for 1st-level characters: "Replace the advanced blackstone gigant with an animated chair..."

I'm working on a conversion of Kingdom of the Ghouls. My players are currently assaulting the Fane of Lolth from D3. After that we'll be on hiatus for a couple of months (maternity leave for a couple of players). When we pick up they'll spend some time on the Sunless Sea, and from there it's the dread White Kingdom.
