So what is your favorite module, ever?

I meant published adventures for any system/edition. Threads like this give folks a good idea of what to look for.

I'm a conversion nut. I love taking modules from all over the place and cluttering up the insides with small stat blocks, or AD&D conversion notes.

Thanks Treebore, I just wanted to make sure the definition was okay (I don't know, that's important to me, as if D&D was separate from any other RPG - interesting topic for further discussion).

So, best adventures, ever, for any RPG?
- T1-4, Temple of Elemental Evil
- Rappan Athuk Reloaded
- The Night of Dissolution (Ptolus)
- Masks of Nyarlathotep (Call of Cthulhu)
- Shattered Isle (Hawkmoon, French edition)
- Baron Samedi (In Nomine Satanis/Magna Veritas)
- The Banewarrens
- The Shackled City (Adventure Path)
- The Last Supper, and extended Giovanni Chronicles, (for Vampire: The Masquerade)

The first thing thing that jumped to mind was Queen Euphoria, the perfect combo of spring break, running a new game system (Shadowrun) for the first time, and running something radically different from D&D.

As for D&D:
Real old 1e: Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun
Best 1e: Pharaoh/Oasis of the White Palm/Ravenloft
Best 2e: Al-Quadim's Golden Voyages box
Best 3e: I don't really know. Unlike the others, these are still to fresh to pick the classic. At this point probably Shackled City.

As a player:

1E: L1 Secret of Bone Hill
2E: Road to Urik (Dark Sun)
3E: Red Hand of Doom

As a DM, I really liked A Paladin in Hell from 2E - a blast to run from start to finish and much more inventive than the title suggests.

Wow, tough choice. Probably B4, Lost City.

Honorable Mentions:

B2, Keep on the Borderlands
X2, Castle Amber
I3, Pharoah
I6, Ravenloft
T1, Village of Hommlet
S4, Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth
The Forge of Fury

(There are 3.5 modules that could make this list ... Red Hand of Doom being one of them. But since I haven't played or DM'd them, they don't get credit.)

"Dargaard Keep" from the 2E Dragonlance module collection World of Krynn stands out for me.

Dragons of Despair is another Dragonlance module that stands out.

I also enjoyed The Rod of Seven Parts module box.

House of Strahd/Ravenloft 16 are favorites.

Night Below is another favorite.

We just finished Sons of Gruumsh today, and that was an incredible bloodbath. :D
