So what is your favorite module, ever?

Palace of the Silver Princess by far. I have run that module a dozen times.
The first module of the slavers series and the first of the giant series are a very close second.

I'd be hard pressed to go past the original Temple of Elemntal Evil collection (T1-4).

We played that module A LOT back in the day, and got a kick out of it every time. It probably helped that the guy who DMd it was a great DM. I still play with him nowadays, but sadly he doesn't really get enough time to DM...

After that would probably be Egg of the Phoenix. For 3.X, we are playing Red Hand of Doom, which I'm really enjoying, too...

Ooh so much to choose from, so many memories......

As DM B4 was the first mod I bought (The Lost City) and still holds a special place for me. But close second T1-4 Temple of Elemental Evil, which I ran as a campaign for 3 years, with extended plots - great dungeon crawl.

As a player I remeber I3 Pharoah with the greatest affection, and strangely B3 stirs some great memories now its mentioned.

There are so many other classics I could mention, and I have no doubt that some of the 3ed will be joining them in time..... (my kids loved Sunless Citadel and Forge of Fury).

The Silver Key is the great module from my old AD&D 2e game. I used a lot of adventures out of Dungeon for that campaign, but I can't list a favorite now since I got rid of them all.

Among the titles still on my shelf, Alternity Gamma World stands out.

Best ever:

TSR/D&D:

B1 In Search of the Unknown

Runners up:

B2 Keep on the Borderland
I6 Ravenloft
S4 Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth
G2 Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl

TLG/Castles & Crusades:

The Rising Knight

Runners up:

Assault on Blacktooth Ridge
Lion in the Ropes
Mortality of Green
Dark Chateau

:D

My favorite old one was U1 - Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, nothing says a evening of fun like a haunted house adventure.

Presently, I have to go with Red Hand of Doom.

I don't have a 2.x favorite since I never played 2.x

We just finished Sons of Gruumsh today, and that was an incredible bloodbath. :D

I completely agree. There's alot of superfluous (if you ask me) roleplay at the beginning, but once the dungeon is reached, oh lord!

I bet most folks tend to take some of the more clever entrances, but my players, heh....they basically kicked in the door and started screaming for orc blood! they got it, too.

I never hear of much love for this module but I thought it was awesome. It played smoothly,
had a cool BBEG, and the cover was sweet!
(I hate the kingdom of Wendar's name but oh well.)

seconded...

I have fond memories of "X2: Castle Amber" and "B3: Rahasia" from my BD&D days, and of "The Shattered Circle" from 2nd Edition. 3rd Edition gave us "The Sunless Citadel", and this year has seen two great adventures in "The Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde" and the superior (IMO) "Red Hand of Doom".

But standing above them all is "I6: Ravenloft".
