Pre-ordered them from Derek (Talon Comics) with the addition of overnight (which probably wasn't that smart, since the street date is a Friday ). So about $67 + Shipping, I guess.

One draw back of having a gaming family: you need a copy of the PHB for each family member to prevent fighting.

My LGS continues to this day to insist 3.5 is released at Gen Con. I've asked them to look it up or ask around and I'm met with indifference at best.

About US$ 80 on Amazon.com. But, I'm on the other side of the big pond, so shipping price is a bit higher (about US$ 5 per shipment, plus US$ 5 per book -- but a couple of us will be ordering together, so the shipment price will be divided amongst us).

The funny thing is that Amazon.com is cheaper for us to order from, even though Amazon.de, Amazon.at, or Amazon.fr are all at spitting distance...
