So what price are you paying for your 3.5E books?

Re: Share the Love

Has anyone else who participated in the Share the Love thing noticed something weird with later orders? My last order from amazon also had a 10% discount, and it wasn't even any of the stuff from the STL program.

Anyone notice that?

Me too, me too! ;)

I just preordered them from Amazon for US$63.51, with free shipping (and 9 Trivia Nickels -- great suggestion, Kryndal Levik). I Shared the Love with a few friends who are also debating the "preorder and pay less but wait longer vs. buy them for cover price with no waiting" issue. ;)

Part of me really wishes that they were being premiered at GenCon again -- buying the 3e PHB there was a blast, and I was hoping they'd do the same thing this year. After finding out that that wasn't going to be the case, it just came down to stretching my shekels.

$33.

I got a $30 certificate from Amazon.com for getting one of their Visa cards. That alongside the Super Savings discount means I'm getting them for ultra cheap.

I tried to use the Share the Love thing, but it didn't work out. I even had a couple of very nice people try to StL with me, but I wasn't able to order the books in time to take advantage of that. Oh well. I'm hardly complaining.

My FLGS sells the package of all three for 800 Danish kroner (the usual price here would be 900 Danish kroner). Divide that by 6 or 7 (I'm not aware of the current rate) and you've got the price in USD.

Pre-ordered them from Derek (Talon Comics) with the addition of overnight (which probably wasn't that smart, since the street date is a Friday ;)). So about $67 + Shipping, I guess.

With overnight you'll be getting it on Saturday the 19th! :)

And thank you for ordering through my store! We even got the character sheet out there before WotC did! :D

Pre-ordered all three for UK£50 (about US$81) from a FLGS. No shipping - I'll pick them up on my way home from work.

What excuse do you think I should give my boss for leaving work early? :D

I'm hoping Amazon does what they normally do and ship a day early so I get it on friday. It would be nice to have them for the weekend as one of my groups is meeting Saturday. :)
