I've pretty much lived my life in Cahokia, Illinois, which is directly across the Mississippi River from St. Louis Missouri. There was an Indian city a couple of miles away, and my town is one of the five oldest european settlements founded along the river, being founded in the late 1600's. For three years in the Navy, I also stayed in New London Conneticut, Dam Neck Virginia, and Charleston, South Carolina.
