According to the designer, Gamma World should just be a set of rules for creating your own world, a toolbox as it were. I am planning an extremely dark and gritty version of Gamma World. Sort of Rifts meets Warhammer 40K, without all the cute and funny bits.

I'm a big fan of the 1st & 2nd editions. I can't wait for the new one. I'll probably run a "Fallout" inspired mini-campaign.

From what I gather over at FRP, where I usually buy my gaming materials, there are three books which you can preorder and the release months are October through December.

I can't wait, personally! I like many of you have all, if not most, of the previous GW stuff.

Personally I'm going to run an old campy style campaign! Raccons with machine guns, freeze rays, wild robots, the works!! oh and of course sentient plant characters (even though the rule book won't have info for them) I just love 'em!

Haven't been interested in it since it's earliest incarnations (Metamorphosis Alpha). I've seen all the editions, through friends, and haven't liked a one of 'em.

Though I did like the old The Dragon article "How Green Was My Mutant"

I own every version of GW and am looking forward to this version a great deal. I'm hoping that I might get to run a campaign. Slightly gritty but not too hard line.
