so, who's going to gencon indy?

i've been going to gencon for the last 5-6 years, and not once have i been successful in meeting up with someone i know online by chance meeting (well, once i went with two people i knew from AOL, but that was planned! ) and i'm hoping to break that record this year!

my fiancee and i will be staying at my friend's house. i don't know what kind of space she has there, and i can't promise anything (because i haven't asked her) but she MIGHT have some extra room... if you try real hard to come up with a space and can't, i will try to keep you in mind. actually, it would work more like if i met you there and we hung out and you told me that you were sleeping in the convention hall, i could probably get you a place on her floor for $0.

I would if I could, but, besides lacking the funds, I doubt they would let me enter the US.

I'm going to be there come hell or high water. I've already made hotel reservations, so I don't think I'll be needing to beg for space.

The only thing I'm worried about is that I recently got an email saying I have not preregistered a badge, and that I have five days left to do so (that was two days ago). I thought my family was taking care of this for me since I'm here in Japan, but now I'm not so sure...ah well, either way, I will be there!

Hopefully not! Naw, I've just have a very definite opinion of the USA's current goverment, and it's not a good one.
