I don't need BG3 either. The first game though... I can't think of another CRPG that had that amateurish an attempt at story or dialogue. Wow. It's a testament to how incredible the combat system was that: a) I finished the first game b) am champing at the bit to buy the second one!As much as I enjoyed the first version, this is a big step up. It's not going to be at the same level as BG 3, personally I don't really want it to be. It's good to see that they've been able to build upon the success of the first game. It might be kind of nice if they were officially licensed and used more than just the basic rules, but I wouldn't be surprised if the cost/benefit analysis doesn't work in their favor if WOTC was even interested.
