Solo Rogue Campaign

Actually I am pretty much a traditional RPG'er. I may play a few of the RPG-Lite console games, such at zelda, but not much of a PC Gamer.

I will, however, pick up the walktrhus online, as suggested above, for some ideas.

Christian... Lavender will look FABULOUS :)

See if you can find a copy of the city of Lankmar -- it's perfect for running rogues in it. I've run a complete urban campaign a couple of times using it. Find some generic plug-in locations, like Foul Locales, and you're ready to go.

Hal -- Check your email, my friend, and then ignore my message.... I was more than a little upset at the time :(

No worries mate, e-mail me a wish list and try and hook up soon, if not like I said I can mail ya some goodies, as an ex-GM, you deserve it.

Don't know if anyone else has already said it as I just saw the Thread's subject and wanted to post really quick as I'm in a hurry, but if you want some ideas for a solo Rogue/Thief campaign, look to the games Thief: The Dark Project and Thief 2: The Metal Age. My two personal favorite computer games. Thief 2 even uses some Thieves Cant from 2nd edition! :D

If at all possible, PLAY these two games. They're incredible. The walkthrus just won't do them justice. Plus, if you play the games, you'll get to see all the cinematic sequences that REALLY give the game flavor. Plus the game'll give you some great ideas for thieving equipment. The Rogue is my favorite class to play, and I thought I knew just about everything I needed in order to run rogue campaigns, THEN I played the Thief series and they taught me a lot. I even made "The City" a domain in Ravenloft :D
