D&D 4E Some good programs for a 4e DM?

OneNote (part of Microsoft Office) is IMHO by far the best Note Programm for Windows, no GM should be without it, especially if you have a tablet-pc (handwriting in Session is awesome).

Inspiration Pad Pro is great Random-Table generator and it is free!

Also a PDF Reader should be installed and one of the countless DiceRollers (like mine Flanfs RPG Page Main/Flanf's Dice Roller ;) ).

I also like Mindmapper-Programms when I create Adventures, but this is only for the preparation not for the actual session.

Yes Masterplan is very cool tool. Very complete. Dungeon Master's Battle Screen is pretty cool too... let's see if I can find a link.... Dungeon Master's Battle Screen - Home It's a bit more user friendly when it comes to controlling the battle, in so for as dealing damage, placing conditions, keeping track of bloodied enemies and even keeping a record of who is dealing the damage in combat. It's less complete than Masterplan which can be used to make any kind of encounter and run your campaign wiki etc. but it's worth checking out for running combat.

Oh, and you are probably going to want a D&D Insider Subscription for the Character Builder and Adventure Tools. Infinite Monster Making at the touch of a button... but that might be stating the obvious.
