Ah I am sorry.
"Bluff gives bonus to Performance (act), which gives bonus to Diplomacy, which gives a bonus to bluff..."
Means
"Bluff gives bonus to Performance (act).
Performance (act) gives a bonus to Diplomacy.
Diplomacy gives a bonus to Bluff."
Am I wrong? I did not continue the sentence farther, so I don't understand how you misinterpreted what I said. "..." is effectively a period, ending a sentence, but indicating that one is trailing off ones words into silence.
I was not saying the bonus effects would count as ranks and thus attribute to the next skill giving a bonus. I was trying to show how closely the skills in your example synergy. Whether that synergy is a bad thing is based on opinion, but that the synergy is fairly strong should not be overlooked.
I don't like how you assumed I was misunderstanding a game mechanic when I had already said I thought perhaps my English had caused a misunderstanding. I am not all-knowing, but when I don't know, I ask instead of making assumptions. Its a good policy to follow in forums...
