Some questions from yesterday's session

ShadowMaster

First Post
Hi there,

How does Charm Person work? We were 4 yesterday and we tied-up a guard and the druid casted Charm person on him with succes. Is he our friend or only the druid's friend? does he have a save each round? Is he supposed to tell us everything that we ask him?

Does the flanking bonus still count when you have bonus because the ennemi is stun? Paralysed?

How can we fight a phase spider? It is said that thay phase in as a free action and out as a move equivalent (or part of it). how are we supposed to fight it if it can phase-in, strike someone, and phase-out in a single round?

Thanks

The flanking bonus is unnamed, as far as I know, and therefore should stack with all other bonuses.

You can always ready an action to attack the spider as soon as it phases in. Delay might also work, although I would check before trying it. I am not sure if a Delayed action could be used to interupt something else's action as it were.

He is just the druids friend.

They get a save whenever asked to do something against their nature. Releasing a friend is fine and they wouldn't get another save.

So, if he's just the druid's friend. What are the 3 other guys for him? Threat, neutral or unknown?

It would depend on the situation. THey would probably start out as threats. But if they stopped threatending the guard, and the druid said they were okay, his opinion might change, especially if the "threats" started helping the guard.
