Does anyone see a problem with giving Sorcerers the Psion's Power Point Progression? Would there be anything you would want to change?
Basically, the Sor keeps his spells known, spell list and everything else, just uses PPs to figureout spell costs.
How would you handle spells that scale upwards? Would a 10d6 Fireball cost more than a 5d6 one?
For: Yes, its more powerful.
Against: Nope, he's 10th level and deserves the power boost.
Alt_1: Make Scaling go away. You get what you get and no more.
Does anyone use a mechanic to let Psions' scale their powers that seems balanced?
Would you give the Sor new abilities? I suppose you could use the Metapsionic feat costs for their Metamagic counterparts.
I am doing this for pure "flavor" because I (and my players) want to, not 'cause the "Sor got the shaft" or anything.
