Why take Fighter when you can take Psychic Warrior?

Psychic Warriors get Expansion and other fun powers.
So an Eberron game or just allowing all races from any setting to be included?
Go with Kalashtar soulknife with racial substitution levels from Races of Eberron and soulblade warrior (from the same book) - racial feat for Kalshtar. Allows manifesting mindblade as a swift action (from 1st level) and adds 2 to level for purposes of mindblade enhancements (doesn't kick in until you can normally enhance your mindblade though) and when spending an action point to modify your attack get to add result to damage also. Very sweet feat. Kalashtars get as a racial bonus +1 pp per character level.
Then the heck with soulbow - go with ativist from the same book.

There aren't any Soulbow-specific books, particularly because Complete Psionic was not Open Game Content so nobody's allowed to print and sell content specific to them. The Soulknife itself is OGC, but not the extra material for it in Complete Psionic.
There is a lot of feats, prestige classes, and such for Soulknives, however, in the products from Dreamscarred Press. For the most part, I like what they've made for Soulknives in the "Mind Unveiled" series and other stuff. Check the RPGNow PDF store through EN World's links (near the top of the main forum index, I think), and search for Dreamscarred Press on RPGNow. The Mind Unveiled is a series of cheap little PDFs, while some of the other books from DP are much more expensive by comparison. The Soulknife-specific prestige classes and DP's variant Soulknife are found in some of their other PDF products, I forget the names right now.
Ok here is what I made.
Psiforge, Soulknife 2/Psychic Warrior 2/Fighter 1/Soulbow 5
with this combo I received 10 Feats to choose total, they are as follows:
I took Psychic Warrior so I can get the Autohypnosis up to 8 ranks with only one level of cross-class and maintain the bonus feats. (remember multi-classing doesn't share all the same skills, So we level up one at a time to make sure we rank them correctly.)
Point Blank shop, Rapid shot, Improved Rapid shot, Many Shot, Precise Shot, Mithral Body, Mithral Fluidity x2, Weapon Focus (Mind Arrow), Improved Int.
With the Mithral body I have a +7 AC +7 dex bonus and no penalties. I also now attacks with a +12/+8/+12 (rapid and many shot) doing 1d8+7 per hit, two hits per attack. So with the lowest AB +8, if I hit all three I will be doing 6d8+42. I dont know but thats pretty neat for me. I am also in an undead area so I have my +1 Bane for them on my Arrows doing and extra +2d6 with a +2 added to my attacks making it right now a +14/+10/+14 at level 10.

Ummm what book? I looked in the completed psionics where the soulbow is from and didnt see Ativist.

I think he means Races of Eberron, the book he referred to in his post. Where stuff for Kalashtar is found. I don't have it myself so I can't be sure if that's where the Ativist is.
