South Park 10/19/05

I loved that parody of Spartacus at the end.

Another great scene from the episode...

Stan: "We are going to help those people, right, dad?"

Randy: "Maybe, son. But right now the important thing is finding out just whose fault this is."

and I also liked the whole "Jew gold" bit with Cartman and Kyle.

They managed to make a parody of The Day after Tomorrow, a satire on certain current events, and made it all very funny.

For some reason, South Park is at its funniest (IMO) if it's either being satirical about current/recent events and very close to reality, or utterly divorced from it (like the episode where "Earth" is revealed to be just an alien reality show and is almost cancelled).

I'm going to sue all you *bleeps* for every *bleeping* cent you've got!

(not that South Park ever uses profanity).

Go Crab People!!

"Run from the Global Warming! It's right behind us!"

I loved the part where the guy trips running away from the Global Warming, and then just dies even though nothing actually happens to him.

I blew up the dam.

I haven't been watching the series for long, but I've made certain to see the best and most famous episodes. I think that Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow will find its place among them.
