Ok in PHB they are a 2 handed melee weapon with a 20ft range increment (d8 damage)

a) can i throw it 2 handed and do + x1.5 Str damage?
b) if i cant throw it this way can i throw it 1 handed for +x1 Str damage?
c) or is is thrown 2 handed but doesnt recieve the x1.5 damage?

Never seen anyone throw a spear two-handed. One hand is used for stability while aiming but usually let go while the other hand launch the weapon into the air.

As a throwing or hurling weapon, you do gain full (x1) Str bonus to damage. As a ranged weapon, you must still apply your Dex bonus to attack rolls.

Note that the x1.5 damage rule is only stated in the "melee weapons" section, not for ranged weapons. For what it's worth, the 3.0 SRD was a lot clearer about this:

Thrown weapons can only be thrown one-handed. A character can throw a thrown weapon with one hand even if it would be two-handed for you due to the character's size, but doing so counts as a full-round action because the weapon is bulkier and harder to handle than most thrown weapons. Add the character's Strength bonus to damage.

From the quote above:
Thrown Weapons
Daggers, clubs, shortspears, spears, darts, javelins, throwing axes, light hammers, tridents, shuriken, and nets are thrown weapons. The wielder applies his or her Strength modifier to damage dealt by thrown weapons (except for splash weapons).
Since twohanded weapons are included, what's unclear about it?
