Alternate Form (Su): A quark can assume the form of any Small or smaller animal.
Spell-Like Abilities: At will—detect chaos, detect evil, detect good, detect law, speak with animals, tree shape; 1/day—confusion. Caster level 6th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.
Once per week a quark can use commune to ask six questions. The ability otherwise works as the spell (caster level 12th).
If we wish to reproduce the "mineral shape" power, we could either give it meld into stone as an SLA, or modify this...
Boulder Defense (Ex): A thomil can change its shape to a smooth, immobile, boulderlike form. In this form, the thomil's damage reduction increases to 15/- and its spell resistance increases by 5, but it cannot move or make attacks. Assuming this form takes a standard action, while returning to its semihumanoid form is a free action.

Not sure about mineral shaping. Meld into stone could work, but these are then getting kind of SLA-heavy.

Tabur: Str 10, Dex 15, Con 10, Int 10, Wis 14, Cha 13
Orrek: Str 13, Dex 13, Con 10, Int 12, Wis 12, Cha 13
These fellas strike me as more dextrous than anything else.
How about Str 10, Dex 17, Con 10, Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 13?
