D&D 5E Speculate on Pax

There is the possibility that they might introduce an additional virtual tabletop platform partner. Mearls' recent interview indicated that their current deal is not exclusive.
This bit gives me hope. I'm still clutching my 4E Player's Handbook, waiting patiently for that VTT that comes with DnDInsider! They've been working on it for eight years now, so it's gotta be almost ready...right? Right?

Just kidding. But for real, I'm invested in Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds is expensive; it'd be a lot simpler for me to just pay a bit more for Roll20 D&D stuff than to pay Fantasy Grounds and learn a new system.

I could swear that I saw a Pax Prime like for 2015 that mentioned Morgan Webb, but now it gives me a 404. It was called "Five Heads are better than one". Maybe it was an old link... Or maybe it was something they didn't means to post yet?

Anything involving computers and screens is not of interest to me.

I want pen and paper products. Preferably adventures, but also a few books on new subclasses.

I would love an AL structured not unlike PFS-- an AL through which I can download adventures, run them in my home, with my friends (sometimes with friends new to the hobby), with equal rewards to games run in stores, without the support of a store, without the need to play in a public place, without the need to advertise to strangers.

I'm changing my opinion slightly based on the other thread - specifically this part:

The Other Thread said:
There will be a mix of products coming. As well as the material in partnership with Kobold Press, Sasquatch, Green Ronin, etc., there is also product they're doing alone which has not been announced yet.

It's possible, though not terribly likely, that they'll announce the book in the works after the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide.

When Crawford has spilled that he is working on a major table-top project to be announced after Rage of Demons. So they may make this announcement at PAX prime or east. Pax may soon become the D&D con in terms of media/pr.

Heh heh.

No idea actually. And in truth I can't say with 100% certainty that there will be an AI game, but from the way Perkins has been tweeting about it, it seems like it is. But there's also been no indication of who the fourth player is going to be.

Vin Diesel.

And the crowd goes WILD!!!

I imagine there will be the standard live game.
There will be panels selling the game and talking about the books and teasing the upcoming two books. But, since no podcasters attend, we won't know the details and rely on someone's hastily written tweets for information.
I doubt there will be any real new revelations or announcements, as the big one happens shortly before and after GenCon, so announcing things at cons no longer seems to be a thing.
