He's a weird guy. He likes mayo on his hotdogs, and ketchup on his ice cream too.Why would Vecna cut off his hand and eye and replace them with his own...?

Its pet is giant sized. GIANT theme includes giant animals, not just giant humans. It's way more primeval themed that GIANT themed. Has literally nothing to do with giants.

The only thing primeval about it is the name. Any beastmaster can legally have a dinosaur pet, and perfectly modern creatures, such as a horse, are legitimate options for this class.
It does make sense for a Primordial themed book (given that Dinosaurs are linked with Priomordiasl directly), which is to say, Giant themed. They are linked in D&D Lore...written by the guy who is leading this UA.It doesn't make sense for a giant book. Do you feel like a giant when your dwarfed by your pet?
No, I feel like the pet is a giant. It doesn't make sense for a giant book. Do you feel like a giant when your dwarfed by your pet?
Hey, hey, that's like the entire basis of what we do here, come on. If we don't have that, we have nothing!I think you are projecting what you want to see onto the flimsiest of evidence.
I find you get far more accurate predictions if you keep "what I want" out of it!Hey, hey, that's like the entire basis of what we do here, come on. If we don't have that, we have nothing!
Well, that's fair: still gotta build.on pretty thin evidence either way. And a setting is plausible.I find you get far more accurate predictions if you keep "what I want" out of it!
