Speed Armour Description, DOTF Magic Item

Does +3 sound too cheap for you for the Speed magical armour ability found in DotF, p24?

After all, the same ability in the weapons is +4, and that gives you only a extra partial attack.

Where as the armour gives +4 to AC, and a extra partial action (which could be an attack) with ANY weapon as opposed to the limited one with the Speed Weapon.

And Amrour is CHEAPER! Hmm, spend 9,000 for the armour or 18,000 for the sword...err...duhh....

I think Speed should be +5, if nothing else. After all, the inherint bonus is +4 to AC...and an EXTRA action...maybe +6 would be more appropriate. +2 cost for an extra action isn't out of line....

Yes, the armor works like boots of speed (command activated, up to 10 rounds of haste each day). The speed armor quality costs the same as +2 armor bonus.
