Speed enchantment + double weapons?

Does the speed enchantment on a double weapon give you 1 extra attack or 2?

Also, what happens if the character is also hasted?

I'd search, but I guess us commoners can't do that... :D

Since it is a double weapon and that basically acts like 2 weapons for getting the extra attack if both ends of the weapon have the speed enchantment then you get an extra attack with both ends.

Extra attacks from speed doesn't stack with haste. So either you take the extra attack or the extra partial, but not both.

Thanks, now if I can just find out about the double weapon part I'll be all set.

if both ends of the weapon are enchanted with speed, then I'd give an extra attack for both.

I think you can still use haste for a partial action, just not a partial attack if your using speeded weapons. What does everyone else think?

Same here.

No. You cannot use a speed weapon and gain the partial action from haste in the same round.

Which is why 2 Speed weapons to not stack and you only get one extra attack not one for each weapon.

Incorrect. Speed weapons stack with each other, but not with haste. You have to use the full-attack action to gain the benefits of both, of course, but they still stack with one another.

I dont have the Books here at work but I dont think you need to use the Full Attack action to get the speed attack.

If you want the speed attack from both weapons, which is what I said, then yes, you do need to take a full attack action. You only get the speed attack if you swing the weapon, and you can only swing both weapons in a full-attack action.
