Interesting. I've never seen it in play, but I've yet to play in a game that allows it.

It's a good feat, even a strong feat, but it's never been overpowered.
3.5 Spell Focus is too weak IMHO, so we changed it back to +2, but banned Greater Spell Focus, as +4 was too much - +2 isn't.

Does a bit to imply (At least to me) that the problem is just that the problem is there are too many feats/means to increase your Spell DC rather an problem with the actual feats being overpowered?
