Spell Compendium Errata Up!

I cant believe kelp strand wasn't changed. As written you can shoot 3 grapples at a single target. It might as well paralyze them if they fail to save against a super high dc 3 times in a row. .

Let's see... nothing that should have been fixed, was fixed. Chalk this up as another meaningless bone thrown to us. *sigh* I guess the dissenters are right - WotC's designers really don't know how things work in D&D, or they're just ignorant about what IS possible, and dismiss it as "Nobody would ever do this" instead of fixing it.

Typo in errata correction

Errata mistake

Page 22 – Axiomatic Water [Substitution]
The second sentence of the first paragraph has an error. It should read: “Axiomatic water damages chaotic outsiders the way hold water damages undead and evil outsiders.”

I am not usually one to say something like this, but man that was weak.

I know that 4E is taking up the lion's share of resources, but I strongly suggest not giving doing errata if you don't have the time to do it thoroughly and properly.

Let all of us know that you don't have the time to do things and call for an unofficial fan project. I'm sure ENWorld can make a thorough review of the book.

I wonder what the Magic Item book errata will look like?

Now that they're focused on 4E, maybe Wizards should put up the 3.5E errata in a Wiki and let the 3.5 players - the people who really know the game and are choosing to stick with it - make corrections as needed.

I know a Wiki format would end up filled with massive errata flame wars, but at least the 3.5 errata would continue to get worked on. There might even come a time when the 3.5 rules would be "finished."

An "offifical" or even semi-official D&D Wiki for rules sounds like a really, really good idea. :D
