So pathfinderq1 Flynn would know the following about green slime...
A creature that comes into contact with green slime
takes 5 (1d10) acid damage. The creature takes the
damage again at the start of each of its turns until the
slime is scraped off or destroyed. Against wood or
metal, green slime deals 11 (2d10) acid damage each
round, and any nonmagical wood or metal weapon or
tool used to scrape off the slime is effectively destroyed.
Sunlight, any effect that cures disease, and any effect
that deals cold, fire, or radiant damage destroys a patch
of green slime.
"Get back! Out of there- that stuff can eat through almost anything!" Flynn's voice was loud in the enclosed space of the tunnel. "Get a torch- we need fire or sunlight. And keep it off your blades- it can melt steel!"
Suiting his own deeds to his words, he stepped back, out of the affected area- but not far...
Old Zef tries to dodge out of the way of the falling slime, but his peg leg gets stuck in a crevice and he has to wedge it out, but that brief moment is enough to slow him down. He growls in pain as the acidic slime burns through his shirt and onto his arm. "Oh I've got fire alright, enough to burn this accursed slime to Hades and back"
Too concerned with trying to calculate how much time they had left before the cavern filled with water, Katerina was not as quick on her feet as she normally would be and got hit in the shoulder with a patch of slime. A string of unladylike Spanish curses streamed out of her mouth as she jumped back but it was too late.
She pulled her hair to the side, "If you've got the fire, burn it off! Prisa!"
"Nay, no need to burn it off you lass. The fire is for the slime." says Zef as he conjures a long, flat piece of wood. He then carefully scrapes the slime off of Katerina first, breaks that section of wood off, then scrapes it off his own arm.
