5th - Baleful Polymorph, Mirage Arcana, Feeblemind*, Dominate Person*
6th - Chain Lightning, Control Water, Greater Dispel Magic
7th - Control Weather, Waves of Exhaustion
8th - Mass Charm Monster*

*I'd give her Spell Focus in Enchantment

I know... :p of course Color Spray was not the reason for the spell focus choice ;) Was just to add a low-level enchantment to justify why she might have taken SF long ago. The spell also has no HD limit, and its only real problem is low DC, but with Heighten (if she had it) it could be useful. Otherwise let's just say that the naga uses it against the occasional low-level critters she may meet...
 


Hmm. The brutally obvious answer occured to me. I hadn't realised quite how good it is in a stand up fight. Been thinking about it as if it was a humanoid caster.

Transformation.

Not entirely sure if monster HD count as levels for the purposes of that? More strength, con, armour and a BAB of +40?

An 18th level scroll of contingency could make that a really interesting ending to the fight?

Edit: On further reflection, Limited wish could also provide Righteous Might. Going up a size category from huge, netting all kinds of extra bonuses. double :eek:

When we fought a naga, it regurgitated a wand from somewhere inside itself and used its prehensile tongue to wave it around. I liked that. Of course, after the fight we cut the naga open to see what else was inside it. :)
