Bloodstone de Troll
First Post
Hello all,
I have recieved the d20 spelljammer/Dungeon mag today, and I must say that I like it. I look forward to what the very creative spelljammer comunity will do with it.
I rather like the fact that Helms renew the atmosphere, and that they dont drain a mage pilot of his or her spells. I was rather dissapointed to see the Neogi's ships in the hands of the Drow (though I like the look of the spiderships, very shadow-ship like and creepy) though from a marketing standpoint I do understand. The Drow appeal to so many D&D fans, as enemies and as PC's, while the neogi are generally only monsters.
I havent obsorbed the whole article yet, but have they ignored the "hitpoints per 10ft square" bit from the Dragon article on vehicles? It looks like it, I liked that feature, as it made a ship a heckuva lot tougher that a critter of the same size (ie its alot eaier to kill the crew than to wreck the ship).
What do you folks think???
