Spelljammer: Starfarers (at last!)

Caelano is cut off in mid-dash as he passes the Captain and Westenberger, heading toward the crew. "Well, if you're all so eager to go off and get KILLED, then go ahead and do so. Come about! Miss Arani, FULL SPEED"

Westenberger assumes a position of courage, slouch now straight, [color=royal blue]blue eyes[/color] blazing with determination. A hand on Steelheart and another clenched around his Ice Dagger scroll, he says "For once, I agree with the madman. Tam, maybe you are as brave as you are insane. Ladies and Gentlemen! Nobody dies on my watch! Let's all comeback alive!"

Rhaymyr looks at the captain for a moment. Aye, reward the mutinous sod, he thinks to himself - but his hands are already moving, re-reversing the reversals he had worked on the rigging, letting the ship continue its turn.

When that's done, he disappears belowdecks without a word, returning in short order with armor buckled about his frame and pistol and axe thrust through his belt.

Manabu takes cover at the ship's railing. He rests his crossbow on it for extra stability. He continues to watch the distant lights, hoping the crew of the Interlude will be able to distinguish friend from foe.

The dull pink glow enveloping the back of EI turns to a crimson shroud of radiance as Arani kicks the helm to full speed. After a nerve-wracking minute of travel, we come upon two ships, each horribly twisted and mangled as a result of the explosion. One ship, a tradesman, has the name "golden sun" emblazoned in gold leaf on the sides. The other ship, Black Fist is a Zhentilar ship, based on it's flag. On the fore of Black Fist is a large, steel gauntlet, about the size of a VW bug. Bodies litter both decks, but there is still some fighting...
