D&D 5E Spells known and usable as Wizard 2/Bard 1?

Gonna be my first multiclass, if I survive long enough, and I am not at all clear on the spell rules.

How many spells do I get, assuming I have not added any scrolls as a Wizard?

How many bard cantrips do I get when I multiclass into Bard?

Do I just measure spells known individually for both classes, but am on lying able to use as many spells as I get from the Multiclass spell slot table?

Am I able to use my Arcane Recovery as Wizard to regain Bard spells?

Do I need to use both an Arcane focus for my Wizard spells, and an instrument for my bard spells, or can I cast spells from either one with the focus of the other?

You'll have three wizard cantrips and two bard cantrips. You'll have eight 1st level wizard spells in your spellbook (of which you'll be able to prepare 2 plus your Int mod each day). You'll also know four 1st level bard spells.

Yes. You'll have four 1st level spell slots and two 2nd level spell slots that you must share between your bard and wizard spells.

Arcane Recovery recovers slots, so I guess you could say it doesn't really matter.

Yes, you'll need separate foci for your wizard and bard spells.

Thanks for the quick answer, glad to see I read them right. Just wanted to make sure, before I wound up doing it wrong.

IME, it's usually better to just use a Component Pouch than multiple foci, since it covers all classes.

That would work, but I like the image of my Voodoo gnome wielding his family ring focus in one hand while playing Pan pipes with the other. Also, I am not sure yet how my DM handles the collecting of components, and would rather not going truffeling in the forest.

Component Pouches come will all basic spell components, no gathering needed (unless it's an expensive component, which you need to get no matter what you're wielding).
It's basically just a different flavor of foci that anyone can use.

And no reason to not have all 3.

Ah, good to know. I will have to check with my DM about getting that.
