Check 'em out on the Creature Catalogue and you'll see why. Much like the spawn of Tiamat, they are too much of the same thing with few differences.

I see what you mean. Plus, the spider body/wolf head thing seems a little too generic.

Still, I like the general concept of an arachnid/insectile demonic race. Everyone is afraid of spiders for their alienness, and they'd make a cool addition to the unknowable (obyriths), random (tanar'ri), and the incorporeal (loumara).

They just need some variety (too bad the bebelith was made a tanar'ri). I don't know if they had any artwork, but I'd try to depict them as less "wolf-head/spider-body" and something a little more... well, I don't know, but basically try to keep the sense of that, while making it a bit more alien. Can't really describe what I'm imagining at the moment, but something along the lines of what they did with the Minotaur in the MM- how they made it not just a man's body with a bull head anymore, but gave it some more monstrous features, and made its face more of a combination of bull and man.

Anyway, back to more spider goodness!

Don't need the stats, at least not at the moment. Though if you could give some more info on that Spider God, that would be cool. Is it a literal god (this is Deities & Demigods, so probably)?

Well...the Spider God is a God of Nehwon so...yeah, sort of.

I'll get that info posted here shortly.
