Spiderman 3 Trailer up

This trailer looks amazing.

It is by far the best of the trailers for superhero movies.

Inner angst, romantic triangle, multiple kick-ass villians.

Sandman looks sweet. Harry looks dorky on the glider, but Norman didnt look any better so thats ok. And the Venom tease is great. I really hope that they do this right, and don't have the suit and Brock merge until the end of the movie to set up Spidey4.

And the last interview mentioned there might be a 4th villain...

since Sandman is a mook, and Venom might just be a tease for the next movie, I'd still be ok with that.

 Whoa. I wake up today and find this on the forum? Heh. Lucky. :)

But to be fair, I was never a big fan of the alien symbiote costume. Oh sure, it was an interesting story when it first came out. But as it became a recurring plot point in the Spider-man comics, it simply became annoying, especially when it became Venom (still the most annoying and overrated villain of all time IMO).

Still, I'm interested to see what Sam Raimi does with it. The trailer looked really good, especially the black costume, which at first bothered me, but in retrospect looks really good in motion onscreen. I think it's too early to judge about Sandman, but the one scene of his sandform on the street gave me goosebumps! I'm curious to see how Thomas Hayden Church portrays this long time Spidey villain. And speaking of villains, I think it's quite obvious that Harry is the main one in this third installment, and not Topher Grace as people were led to believe. I'm still hoping Grace is not Eddie Brock as people are reporting, as I really really don't want to see Venom on the big screen.

Check the IMDB I posted above. Topher is officially listed as Brock/ Venom.

Okay, I paused that trailer in strategeric locations and I can tell you two things:

One, Harry's got his own costume and his own glider -- a lot slimmer than Norman's, about the size of a skateboard. The costume seems to include a face-mask instead of a helmet, in the shape of a skull.

Two, in most of the scenes where Peter's tearing the black costume off of himself, there's a very large bell in the background. So it looks like a previous poster's wish that there be a belfry involved, will come true.

Do I really need to say that I can't wait? At least it's early May.

Well this is fan-freakin' craptastic. All my hopes of having Samual L. Jackson play the Next Spiderman have now been shattered.

Die Toby Mcteague, DIE!
Don't worry, he is doing Snakes on Boats next year. :D

Probably the Black Cat, who can be seen in the trailer (at least Felicia Hardy is there; the platinum blonde dancing with Peter.)
