The teaser actual gave me a little hop for the movie. As others have mentioned I thought it would be more about Venom, but it does seem to concentrate more on the suit story line.

My guess is that the main focus of the film will be the "black suit" storyline, with Hobgoblin and Sandman as the villains. Then, when Parker sheds the suit, we get an epilogue with Brock becoming Venom.

Then, they can have Spiderman 4 devoted to one of the biggest fan-attracting Spider-villains ever.

I am psyched. I do hope that Venom isn't a feature and Brock gets the suit late in the movie and they just setup the next movie with him. I still hate the black suit as done in this movie. I LOVED the classic black suit and don't see why they need to make it look just like the other one with different colors.

Sandman was always just a thug who got to jump up in the world with his sandy powers. I hope they stick with this aspect.

Poor Harry. Always doomed to follow in the footsteps of his oh-so insane father. No happy ending for him.

So, Gwen Stacy appears in this flick. I wonder if she is killed and what her relationship with Peter is before that happens.

After Peter acquires the "dark suit", he becomes edgier, "red-kryptonite"-style, and forsakes MJ for Gwen. From what I hear, of course.
