Spiderman 4 and 5....

Toby McGuire and every other actor has signed up to do two more films, how ever the Warbler (Kirsten Dunst) has yet to make any statement about doing the new films. So, two questions:

Do you even care about Spiderman enough to watch another two Spiderman movies that are not done by Marvel Studios?

Who should become the main bad guy of the next movie (besides Joe Quesada)?

I wish Marvel could get them back, but oh well.

I'll at least keep an eye on them, and probably end up seeing them anyway. I'm a Marvel fanboy as it is. Spider-Man 3 was definitely meh, but there's still the chance it could reach the levels of 2 and, to a lesser extent, 1.

As for villains, I honestly don't know. Mysterio could be fun, as could a great many others, but what I'd really like just isn't possible. Some of the best Spider-Man stuff, in my opinion at least, are when he gets involved in the rest of the Marvel universe...butttt, that ain't happening.

After they went with the Ultimates version of Eddie Brock & Venom got punked out by the director, I lost a lot of hope for the franchise.

A really bad ass lizard man might pique my interest though. A balls to the walls R-rated carnage movie would rule, but no way would the prissy movie execs let the franchise go hard core Gornography

I'd watch it, if they can get the story back on-track.

Gonna be hard to watch without Harry Osbourne (Dean Franco).

That Arad dude. Either him or Electro and The Lizard.

This. While I appreciate the origin story in the first movie, Doc Ock stole the show in the second film. The third film would have been much better, without Venom forced into the story line.
I didn't like the part where Harry got temporary amnesia, and then near the end of the film he ended up dead.

Personally I lost all interest in Spider-Man (comics and movies) after he made a deal w/ Joephisto to save his auntie's life.

What a brilliant way to ruin such an iconic and brilliant character. 'Divorce is bad for the kiddies' my ass.

They already hinted at that with the first films with cameos by Dr. Connors.

Based on the first two films I'm comfortable with them continuing with the franchise, everyone is entitled to one dud. Lots of good material still available. Personally, I'd like to see Kraven the Hunter or the Cameleon.
