[SPOILERS] Alias "Truth Takes Time" - 3/16/03

John Crichton

First Post
Another entertaining ep of Alias. There wasn't a single part of this week's that I didn't like.

The Kendal/Jack stuff was great. It's nice to see Kendal get put in his place once and a while. The Sloan/Irina stuff was fun and not to mention very interesting. I like how there are still secrets to be learned about the characters in this show. Much of Sloan, Irina and Sark's past are still very mysterious and every time we get some new information it is always a thrill.

I guess we at least know what Sloan is after: Immortality. Not a big surprise, but still good to confirm. I'm interested to see if the bug prophesy will come true this season or the next, concerning Irina. “This woman here depicted will possess unseen marks, signs that she will be the one to bring forth my works. Bind them with fury, a burning anger, unless prevented at vulgar cost. This woman will render the greatest power unto utter desolation.” (Stolen from AICN :)).

Sounds like the producers have another doozey of a finale waiting for us in about a month. Should be fun...

My bet, Irina is going to be upset cause she has to kill Sydney and thus unleashes hell. :) Well it's either that or she has a major hate for the US and over does it.

Figures Sloan would go for immorality. Too bad he just can't do it like ever other Joe and write a book. ;)

"This woman will render the greatest power unto utter desolation." She already did. It was the Alliance.
I don't think the greatest power was the Alliance. The prophecy seems to be pointing towards use of Rambaldi's works in rending destruction. Of course, it's just my speculation which is just as good as anyone else's at this point. :)
