Spontaneous Domains?

I like the cleric in 3rd Edition, but would like to enhance their flavor by focusing a bit more on their diversity. Would changing spontaneous casting from cure/inflict spells to domain spells be over powering?

I think it would be a balanced change. One of the biggest strengths of good clerics is spontaneous healings, IMO, and since this would take that away from them I think it would be balanced.

Of course, a cleric with the healing domain would just benefit from this... but not all that much.

I did it in my campaign and everyone liked it more. It made more sense for the character and the player. He got wands of healing so he needed few healing spells on his daily list. Healing doesn't fit all clerics and i really dislike that it is forced upon them.
