Spoofing Confused

Assign numbers to each square surrounding the confused character.

Roll a d8. The character moves in the direction indicated by the roll as far as its speed allows, or until something or someone blocks its way. It then makes a basic attack against the creature or obstacle that blocked it. If the character is not adjacent to anything it instead makes a basic ranged attack at the closest creature.

Confusing enough?

Very strange! I could have sworn that 4E kept confusion, worded as follows:

- You're dazed.
- Roll a d4 on your turn. On a 1, the creature that confused you chooses your action. The only powers it can make you use are at-will powers. On a 2 or 3, you do nothing. On a 4, you take your turn normally.

I even used it on a created monster!... seems I was affected by the condition too.
