Oh good lord, now we have rule changes in the special edition, as well as the errata and FAQ and Sage and CustServ and Rules of the Game articles?

I wish WOTC had a rules Czar. One person given the power to make all rules decisions, and all those decisions go into the errata right away.

...and in the darkness bind them. I think that's what the Sage is supposed to do, but since he often gets it wrong, we tend to ignore him anyway.

Don't forget the "swim"/holding your breath rules either.

IIRC the 1st printing PHB has:

you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to your Con score.

The SRD has:

you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to your Con score.

The special edition has:

you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to twice your Con score.

Stormwrack has:

you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to yuor Con score (under drowning on pg 11)

and

you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to twice your Con score (under normal under the feat Expert Swimmer on pg 92)


And there is no errata on this issue.

I got mine on e-bay for around $30 (I wanted it because of the fact they had including "stealth" errata)
