When I first read this thread, I thought it was yet another 'fad' thread. Until I picked up the book.

Oh. My. God.

AEG has managed to do what no other gaming company has even come close to. Not only did they completely revise the combat system and turn it into something to TRULY be proud of that is both highly energetic and yet MUCH simpler than the current D&D one, they have also managed to take a game system that simulated 'Heroic' and 'Epic' style fairly well and add 'cinematic' to the list.

I'm REALLY impressed.

Converting Feng Shui to this would take practically no effort at all.

If D&D simulates Lord of the Rings and Willow, this gives the exact same treatment to Mission Impossible and MI2.

The FEATS! Oh, lord, the feats!

This book is simply awesome. I own practically everything out there right now, and it is, by far, the single best book I've seen for the d20 system to date. It's simply unbelievable. I haven't even encountered any major rules bugs, or typoes either. The job AEG did is simply amazing.

Buy this book.

I still can't believe how well their designers have a grasp on the d20 system. This game was written by people who knew what they were doing. I think this is the best third-party d20 game to be released so far. This game makes me believe that any genre can be covered by the d20 system.
