Well, this one was originally meant to appear in a netbook I was working on, but the project froze. So, just so this doesn't go to waste...
And by the way, the gizzard size is intentional.

The squigs are truly vicious predators, bouncing on their prey from the darkness.
A squig has dark red hide, studded with warts and small bone ridges. It is shaped roughly like an orb, with small, stubby legs and a large mouth filled with needle-sharp teeth, that takes up most of its face. Some squigs also have short tails, hair, or small horns.
Orcs use squigs as pets, hunt them for sport, and for food.

Combat
A squig starts combat with anything Medium-size or smaller, usually by jumping up to it from the darkness and sinking its teeth in. Those (roughly 30%) squigs that have horns can gore with them for 1d4+4 damage, with +3 bonus to hit.
Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the squig must hit an opponent of up to Medium-size with a bit attack. If it gets a hold, it can attempt to swallow the opponent whole.
Swallow Whole (Ex): A squig can attempt to swallow a Medium-size or smaller opponent by making a successful grapple check. The swallowed creature takes 1d8 points of crushing damage per round plus 6 points of acid damage from the squig's gizzard. A swallowed creature can cut its way out by using claws or a Small or Tiny slashing weapon to deal 4 points of damage to the gizzard (AC 10). Once the creature exits, muscular action closes the hole; another swallowed opponent must again cut its own way out.
The squig's gizzard can hold one Medium-size, two Small, eight Tiny, sixteen Diminutive, or thirty-two Fine or smaller opponents.
Great Leap (Ex): A squig is as if affected by a permanent jump spell.

Interresting, it feeds in a manner similar to some benthic fish species, who are able to eat prey twice as large as themselves.

Good work.
