SRD Mess up?

I'm quite certain that they are talking exclusively about spells that can be cast on "you", where "you" are the person currently reading the rules. As there aren't any spells that a character can cast on a player, this is just a fancy way of saying "a paladin can't cast any spells on his mount".

For some freakish reason, all spells with a Target: You entry have been changed to Target: The character in the SRD.

That is because the SRD is written in third person, whereas D&D rules is written in second person.
