SRD, what's changed?

Sage: Just wanted to take this opportunity to say that your SRD site is awesome. Thanks! Alot of us really appreciate the work you guys have done on it.

Sage, just curious, are you correcting some of the errors present in the current SRD, or leaving them in there as-is?

Actually, I've engouraged people to mail me about any errors or typos or other mistakes in the site. The only way to spot these is to use the site, so I hope that all mistakes will gradually make their way to me as people spot them.
I used to update the site as soon as I was notified of one of these mistakes, but due to the new hosting, I can't upload the files directly anymore, and therefore I'll stick to larger, less frequent, updates.
The latest was sent to the Raven today, so hopefully it will be up within a few hours

I've allready made the changes to the epic sections (but havent's got them uploaded yet). There's one problem though; I couldn't find anything changed in the epicLevelBasics file :S

I've been updating my SRD version as well. These are the changes I have found (I may have missed some things off it):

EpicClasses.rtf : 1) barbarian removed incorrect dam red entry 2) Druid feat changes 3) Epic psionic classes added/changed

EpicFeats.rtf: 1) changes to descriptions psionic feats (intro bit) 2) the following feats were new: epic expanded knowledge, epic psionic focus, improved metapsionics, power knowledge, psicrystal power 3) the following feats were altered in some way: armor skin, devastating critical, epic toughness, epic weapon focus, epic weapon specilization, improved manifestation, improved whirlwind attack, legendary rider, multiweapon rend, overwhelming critical, perfect multiweapon fighting, perfect two weapon fighting, ruinous rage, spellcasting harrier, two-weapon Rend (some of these feat changes were only minor) 4) 3 new non epic feats were added : greater multiweapon fighting, improved multiattack, improved multiweapon fighting

EpicLevelBasics.rtf: 1) some text removed from adding a second class section

EpicMonsters(A-E).rtf: 1) slight change to epic dragon

EpicSpells.rtf: lots of small changes here. lots of 1 action -> 1 standard action changes, a few spells had DCs and factors changed. Some of the seeds had changes as well. I didn't keep good notes on this section. Mummy Dust and Damnantion were two of the spells that did change -- there were others as well.

MonstersAnimals.rtf: small bit of text added to Lepoard entry

MonstersD-De.rtf: Devourer expertise -> Combat expertise

MonstersG.rtf: cloud giants, perform (harp) to perform (stringed instruments). Some stuff turned to capitals in various giant entries. Frost Giant Jarl added to Frost giant entry. Greater stone Golem added to Stone Golem entry.

MonstersH-I.rtf: Harpy Archer added to Harpy entry.

MonstersIntro-A.rtf: 1)kraken -- expertise to combat expertise, 2) capitalised the word combat in a few places 3) LYCANTHROPE, WEREWOLF LORD added to lycanthopes.

MonstersO-R.rtf: Ogre, 4th level Barbarian added to Ogre

MonstersT-Z.rtf: Troll Hunter added to Troll

SpellsS.rtf: just a fairly minor editing change I think. (corrected a table I think -- something was in a wrong column in one of the summon monster spells)

The psionic stuff is pretty much all new.

Divine stuff.

DivineAbilitiesandFeats.rtf: lots of new salient divine abilities. Also 21 new feats added.

DivineMinions.rtf and DivineRanksandPowers.rtf are all new stuff

DivineDomainsandSpells.rtf: This is a bit of a mess.....
The spells and domains are all pre revision versions -- i.e. they include spells which don't exist in 3.5. I used the 3.5 update booklet to determine, corrections to domains as best I could. Ignore the Rage and Undeath to death spells in favour of the ones in the 'core' section. Genisis is in SRD twice now -- I used the version from epic section (I think) (versions are similar but not the same). Also in the remaining 11 spells I converted cases of "1 action" to "1 standard action". In Madness domain Change random action to Lesser confusion. In community Domain cannot finish updated domain as greater status is not in SRD - Is in update booklet only. Repose Domain (which is supposed to be for clerics barred from casting evil spells) has [Evil] spells in it.

I note that there are still lots of references to things such as "teleport with-out error" "expertise", "greater dispelling", "improved invisibility", "Sunder", and "random action" (as well as some others -- The Epic section is particularly bad for this)

Thats most of what i can remember...

I've updated my version of the SRD with everything (though the psionics have only been roughly done so far) and I emailed a copy to www.systemreferencedocuments.org earlier today.

Thanks! this is really great, I olny wish I had seen this before I updated the epic classes,feats, and spells

Oh well, this'll speed up my update of the Monster and spellsS sections and I might even be able to send them to the Raven tonight.

Hmm, I think I'll just keep away from the divine section for now and get started on the Psionic section, which will probably take quite a while to complete.

Re: Artwork for html SRD

May I suggest calling for artwork contributions from this community and Elfwood? It would be cool to have pictures.

I put together some tables of synergy bonuses and the like - I don't think I emailed them to you ... if copying those sorts of tables (essentially same as 3.5 PHB) is valid open content, then I can send them to you. I have a 5pm deadline for an assignment tomorrow, I'll have more free time over to the summer to help with stuff like that. Email chinnery@eecs.berkeley.edu if you want those tables.

Woa, thanks to stephen I've allready made the changes to the existing sections
Two things though, first, they added some sort of nessian war-thingie to the hellhound entry, and second I couldn't find any changes in the spellsS section.

May I suggest calling for artwork contributions from this community and Elfwood? It would be cool to have pictures.

The thing I like about the wizards artwork is that it's all in the same style, and though I do like some of the stuff at elfwood, I don't like a lot of it (frankly because a lot of them need a lot of training, but who can blame them?).
Anyway, I've been considering linking the title of the various monster entries to their respective pictures, so that when you click on the "ogre-mage" title you're taken to the ogre-mage picture at wizards site. What do you think?

I haven't got them? Anyway, I'm pretty sure they're all copyrighted; they're one of the reasons the books get sold

As far as I can tell what they changed is a formating error in the summon monster spell where the alignment designator was immediately after the monster, now it's not. You already edited out that error, you naughty man, tsk tsk, don't you know you're not supposed to correct errors yourself?

Or you could insert a link called Picture of *monster* at the bottom of each monster page.

But otherwise a great idea.
