If you had said this a year ago, I'd have said it's impossible; but based on some of the things I've heard from the expansion books, the creep of "improved criticals" is sneaking in, and games of SW d20 get VERY DEADLY when this happens. My advice to a Star Wars GM is NOT to let Improved criticals of ANY sort seep in; when your Jedi's and Soldiers start doing Wound damage 6 hits out of 10, It ceases being Star Wars and becomes Shadowrun d20, with Jedi in place of Cybered-up Street Samurai. :)
