Its funny... right now I'm using tappatalk and because of the spacing to places before and after images and links I didn't see that those were Worf noses until AFTER I clicked on the image and as a result I found myself wondering how they could have gotten away with a circumcision scene...

Another Startrek auction?

I saw the special on the TOS Remastered DVDs on the Christie's auction. It was surprisingly interesting.

IIRC, the Enterprise-D model was sold for 500,000 $.

This auction doesn't seem to have the really cool stuff.

I saw the Christie's auction on a History Channel special, it was quite a spectacle, I wish I had that kind of disposable income.

With most lots starting at $100 first bids, I would say 2/3s of the stuff is already overpriced. $100 starting bid for a tribble, awesome, $100 starting bid for a lot of 50 multi-colored Lucite buttons, or a square of blue plastic that was a "data disc" on Enterprise, no thanks.

While I'd love to pick up a few things from the auction, most of it is too expensive for my tastes.
